Concrete surface preparation, floor leveling, DualGuard column and wall protection, amenity room flooring, and lobby finishes for new high-rise construction across Greater Vancouver. GC sub-trade ready — $4M CGL insured, WCB covered, bonded.
On a new high-rise or mixed-use development, we can cover multiple concrete-related scopes under one sub-trade — reducing the number of contractors on your coordination list. Surface preparation for floor covering trades, concrete column preparation and sealing, parkade waterproofing, DualGuard protection on exposed concrete elements, floor leveling before tile or flooring installation, and amenity room and lobby flooring systems.
We are GC sub-trade ready — full commercial general liability insurance at $4M, WCB coverage, bonded contractor status, and WSBC clearance letters available on request. We work from your drawings and specs, or provide system recommendations where specifications have not yet been developed.
Available for new construction bids across Greater Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley, and projects throughout British Columbia.
Diamond grinding, shot blasting, and surface profiling of new concrete slabs in preparation for tile, hardwood, vinyl, or resin flooring installation. We grind to specified flatness tolerances, remove surface laitance and contamination, patch imperfections, and ensure the surface profile meets the adhesion requirements of the specified floor finish system. Proper slab preparation is the step most responsible for floor covering failures — and the step most often skipped on tight timelines.
New concrete slabs in high-rise construction are rarely perfectly flat. Before large-format tile, stone, or precision flooring installations, the slab often needs leveling. We assess the slab and specify the right approach based on what the job requires — self-leveling underlayment for larger areas requiring consistent lift, grinding for high spots, patching compounds for low spots, or a combination. We handle the scope that tile companies and flooring trades either can't execute at scale or charge a premium for.
New concrete columns and walls in high-rise construction often have form marks, tie-hole impressions, and surface irregularities from the pour. We mechanically prepare the surface, patch defects, and apply DualGuard penetrating waterproof membrane — creating permanent internal protection on exposed concrete elements. Horizontal and vertical application. Fast to apply, low disruption to the construction schedule, and provides permanent protection against moisture, efflorescence, and carbonation on all exposed bare concrete.
Lobby polished concrete, gym epoxy flake with double polyaspartic topcoat, amenity room solid colour or decorative systems — we install the full range of flooring finishes for high-rise common areas and amenity spaces. These are high-traffic, high-visibility areas that require commercial-grade systems, not residential specification. We work from your interior designer's finish schedule or recommend appropriate systems for each space. Strata-quality finishes that hold up under real building use.
We understand that GCs need complete sub-trade documentation before a contractor can be put on a project. All of the following are available on request:
